hello ppl... a long time... it's been 3 months? haha so long... so long so long so long... haha!
Wow, exams have come and will be gone soon... everything's coming and going... i wanted to post many times but what do you know... too lazy to post... i just saw my blog and saw the demand of a post so oh well post lor... Just had my first 2 exam papers today... English compo and History...
English was quite tough... but i started with the newspaper report then the actual compo, qn 4, write a time when a friend influenced you to become a better person... i was rushing for time, afraid that i might not have enough time. But what do you know... 3 1/2 pages for newspaper report and 5 pages for compo... i finished with 20 min remaining... maybe writing quickly really is good... giving you time to check and slack...
History was quite a breeze, only 1-2 qn made me unsure... i was so happy... gonna get A1 again i hope... oh well i studied and God did guide me so PRAISE THE LORD!
tomorrow's english compre and lit... memorising quotes of novel... wah this one must rush man... i take too long to write for lit... cos i just write too much, must have more time management... oh well, hope can do well... if not i dunno what happens... it's do or DIE!!!!!!!!
i celebrated my bday on 1st Sept... quite fun, had friends from my class play basketball despite the puddles of water and Ken was so funny, spectacles coming off when he shot the ball... so funny! it was an enjoyable day...
Church has been an enjoyable experience, getting to appreciate my friends and God... it's more fun, more interactive, making me feel better and also getting to help in the 10.30 kindergarten service has made me learn about patience and that fun is indeed a thing that helps you cheer up... Hope that i will fully enjoy my time at BRMC and not waste my morning there but allow me to grow with God more... oh well... i'll stop here... supposed to be mugging (studying)... too many quotes... zhe me ban?! i will still persevere... i'm gonna do well for lit! ARHHHHHH!!! CHARGE!! (don't know y i said that)

Dad's Birthday

Hi everyone! it's been a long time since i posted... haha. How's your first week of school? Boring? Exciting? Or just the plain old Normal? Anyway, today's my dad's bday. We ate at Imperial Palace for dinner. it was really good, with interesting ingredients put together to become a wonderful sumptuous feast. I really had a good time there.
You know i feel that our spiritual life is like a bun. There are many types but the worst type of bun i believe is a stale piece of bread, while the best type is crispy on the outside, and soft and warm on the inside. The outer layer is the way we act, while the inner portion is the way we think. I know that we like to eat bread that is really nice to eat, especially the crispy and soft kind of bread. People want to eat these sort of bread, just like people and God want to hear you speak to them about God and they might also want to given some advice. People enjoy hearing people who give very good pointers on how to solve your problems. That is what makes your life have a 'crispy' edge.
Being soft and warm on the inside is dealing with the heart. Do you really mean what you say? are you a hot, cold or lukewarm christian? Is your apology sincere? Only 2 people know what is the answers. They are yourself and of course GOD. God knows your every breath, every move, and he would obviously know your heart. The Holy Spirit is in us and wants us to do the right thing. So God would really want you to be a soft and warm bun, that means showing sincerity, honesty, openess, letting God into your heart. When you give advice, you must also show that you do what you preach to be right. (i'm sorry if you don't understand, doing my best... haha)
Being the worst bread to eat is the stale bread. Hard on the outside, and cold and hard on the inside. The outside shows rebellion, dishonesty, shows a cold person who isn't a child of God. The person doesn't give good advice, but leads ppl the wrong way. The cold and hard portion shows insincerity, dishonesty, giving rotten advice, leaving God outside,not allowing him to enter.
How would you judge yourself? You could be in the middle. But as worthy Christians, we must not just be at that standard. We want to be like Jesus, the only human to be free of sin on Earth. Repent when you do wrong, and you will be like Jesus, a crispy and soft bun that every person that eats it will treasure the taste. Yes you might say I want to work to become a crispy and soft bun but do not just say it, show it in your actions. Actions DO speak louder than words. So i urge you to work towards being a hot child of God, so that your name might be entered into the book of life and be allowed to enter heaven and have ETERNAL LIFE!!!

HAHA! Today was really funny. Today nerine and i planned to go for a jog at macritchie. So at the meeting point, i met hao yi, who wanted to see me go off... lol. So it was 2pm (the meeting time). so we waited and talked, waited and talked. We saw every single bus go past us, but was NERINE THERE? NOOOOOO... she WASN'T! lol i'm just exaggerating! IT'S FUNNY!!!! So we walked to a bus stop before that bus stop that we met. Was she there? Nope... So we waited 40mins!!! Then hao yi received an sms from nerine cos i asked him to send a sms to her asking her where she was. Where was she? She just finished her tuition!!!! WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT?!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! She was seriously lame... saying it was last min. But it was funny anyway... so i walked back home from macritchie...
Well waiting needs patience. We wait for Jesus to come back down to Earth and save us from our sin again when he most likely dies on the cross. (Well He'll just die from something horrible to save us!!! HEHE!!!) So since the time of Paul to the year 2007, the long awaited arrival still hasn't come. He will come soon. He promised. So that's why we need to be patient. If we aren't, we'll complain about why he isn't here yet. If we're like this, we aren't good children of God. If we do this, we need to ask God for forgiveness.
God is waiting for us too. In Revelations 3:20 says "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Jesus is waiting for us to allow us to open our heart to Him. He wants to live in you and guide you in every choice, giving you advice to whether what you're doing is a good thing or bad thing. So wait upon the Lord. He is your rock and your salvation! Lean on Him. He is trustworthy, loving, forgiving, holy. You can share anything with Him. He will help you in any situation. I hope that you'll let him go into your heart and search you from within and open your door to him and welcome Him with open arms!

Woo Hoo!!! Wow! It's been a long but fun day for me today. Going out with friends to play bowling and watch Fantastic 4 (again... but it's okay) then go to Joel's house for dinner and some games...
Well, everything is alright, people have been asking me whether they can copy my chinese work... HAHA!!! Going to get serious now, preparing for the new term! 5 more days till going back to school!
Problems are everywhere. God gives you problems to test you and give you experience too! When you overcome these challenges you gain experience and know how to deal with these sort of situations. haha nothing to say now...
How you go through these problems.
1) seek help--ask your fellow friends or family members what they would do in these sort of situations. Ask those that have been through these sort of problems. But remember, ALWAYS ask God for help, if you don't ask God personally, you will take a longer time to get through the problem than not asking Him for help at all.
2) Share your problems-- Yes by telling your fellow friends and family members, you actually have to share your problems. If it's about your friends then share it with someone else before confronting the problem and talk to your friend that you have a problem with. Don't share things to your friends that you think aren't trustworthy because the problems you share are personal things. If you aren't in good relations with your family, or don't trust them so much, tell your trustworthy friends instead.
God will always be listening to you. He knows what you'll say even before you say anything. Sharing your problems with Him is the best as He will tell you suggestions through many things, example, the Bible, teachers, pastors, etc. So tell Him your problems and He will help you no matter what. He is your father! So share your problems, do what you think is right, keeping the burden to yourself and you will soon not be able to carry your load OR sharing your problems and burdens with your friends and family. The CHOICE IS YOURS!

Well, there is 1 week left in the school holidays... Have you finished your homework yet? In my opinion, you guys should start preparing for term 3! Well i have to do finish some preparations and have to study hard.
On Sunday i went out with my 11 other church friends to go see Fantastic 4 at Plaza Singapura. We had an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. I was like so called 'in charge' of everyone as i organised this meeting. Like for instance when Nerine and Abigail stopped to look at the things that shop selled, I had to track back and tell them to next time tell me or someone so that they alert us to slow down and wait for them... haha. I was really a bit tired when i came home, maybe cos of that. We ate lunch at burger king and i was so hungry despite eating BK chicken sandwich UPSIZE!!! it was just too little i felt. I thought there was a food court and i was gearing up to eat Korean Food and something else but i couldn't find it and when i saw it on the 2nd top level, i was DEVASTATED!!! I wasted my money on a burger when i could've enjoyed a sumptuous meal of korean food!!! Anyway, we then spent time loitering around and the boys and girls splitted up to do what we wanted to do and Hao Yi, Mao and I were stoning as we couldn't think of what to do and where to go. (Well it was mainly me who was stoning... tried to kill time). Then after a while, Tye and Hao Zhong arrived. But as i was hungry, i ate Korean Food(Beef Set) when Hao Zhong came, Tye came soon after... Anyway, soon it was time for the movie and i was very happy that it was finally the start of the movie. I sat beside Hao Yi (i was at the corner)... And then David sat with Nerine... haha... Nerine before that betted with Jeanne that if David sat next to her, Nerine will pay jeanne $2, but if he sat somewhere else instead of next to her, Jeanne will pay Nerine $2... so Nerine lost but Jeanne said it was okay to pay... lol!!!
Well, it was fun being there, increasing our bond as one grp of siblings in the name of Christ. We need to show people what Christian values really are. I feel that as children of God, we must follow what God wants us to do and not disobey them when we are tested with challenges. We have to be firm, think before we act, don't choose the wrong path. Yes, we aren't perfect but we have to strive for better results, and that result is to be as perfect as we can be. When someone has problems, like when they fall down, we pick them up. It's simple really. But when you choose to ignore him and walk away, this isn't the way that we should act and we will be punished for our sinful deed.
We need to do what is right. We shouldn't let the voices of man, world and Satan influence us as the ultimate result of listening to them is--- DEATH! But if we listen to God, who created us, who sent His Son to die for our sins, will save us and prevent us from getting into hell but instead going to HEAVEN!!! So we should not say No to God but say Yes to what He says. Do your best to say Yes to God. If you say No, repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you and ask Him to let you start a new life. Strive to BE LIKE JESUS, though we are sinners, we are still children of God. We are like Jesus, who is the Son of God. So let God be your ruler. Don't let the likes of iPods, computer games, pumpkins, handphones, Nintendo's... Whatever you name it, make you worship it. Give them all to God, worship God alone. Don't let anything get in the way from Him and you. Matthew 4:17 "... Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." So go and repent of your sins, for God and Jesus are waiting for you. Confess to the Lord. Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." So now confess that you believe in God wholeheartedly and don't break that promise! For if you confess, YOU WILL BE SAVED!!!! God Bless you all and have a pleasant week ahead

Lost!

hi everyone... 1 day passes quickly doesn't it. I had soccer training today, then went to the cage to play football with jon ong and his friends. Then i got lost cos i couldn't find transport but God made a way out and now i'm home!
God really is graceful. I took public transport from my house to the cage at kallang. When i went to the bus stop that i stopped at, i found out that the bus that i was supposed to take wasn't there. Strange right? So i took the bus that was available, 16, orchard and changed bus to go home! Isn't it amazing? how God's love for us is so great that he will provide a way out from whatever problems we face? I felt God's presence when i was lost. We are like the lost sheep waiting to be found. We wander around, trying to see but we can't because we don't see God clearly. But with God's power and love, we manage to see clearly again and enjoy the peace and harmony God has showered on us each and every day.
Finding a way out is a challenge. We must do our best to overcome it. So we pray and trust God that he will provide a way out for us, no matter what problem. Be it temptation, current problems, etc. It says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."
This reminds me of a song:

He will make a way

God makes a way out for us... how serious it is. Sometimes when you don't choose to go that way, the problem will get serious and soon it will be worse and you might not be able it to handle the problem anymore. What will you do if you were tempted? Will you say NO! or maybe say Yes!!! Please! I understand that you guys enjoy and long for earthly things. But these things cause addiction and these things might make you worship them and you will break the commandment "Thou shall only worship the Lord your God" I tell you this, enjoy these things, you can say yes to your desires but control them, don't make them control you!!!

Love is essential. You get it from God everyday, all the time. Especially in happy and problematic times does His love stand out. You see Him holding your hand, walking with you and working together with you to solve the problem. We see His love through many people. Be it your mom, your dad, your siblings, friends, strangers, anyone will show you his/her love when he/she does something that is good. Show love to your loved ones. Acknowledge the love that they give to you by thanking them and showing your undying love for them as well. Our parents shower us with their unconditional love. Show them that you acknowledge them. Say 'I love you' to them. Make them feel that they have a wonderful child that they will enjoy having.

In Mark 12:30, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all you r soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." How do you show this love for God? Yes worship Him, pray to Him. But i feel that we should love our neighbours as ourselves. This really shows our love for God. As God created all of us humans, He is within us as the Holy Spirit, so not loving friends, and other people means in short, not loving God. So LOVE EVERYONE!!! GOD CREATED US TO LOVE EACH OTHER, NOT TO HURT ONE ANOTHER!!!

Another Day Done

Well, 1 day gone, it's drawing closer to school term 3. What have you guys been doing? i've finished my hw, going to prepare soon. You guys must finish your hw by this week, best!
Anyway now that i've said this, continuing from yesterday's topic, by being a real friend, when others are in trouble, help them out, find out if they're okay, ask them to tell you about their problems so that their heart won't be heavily burdened. If they don't want to talk to you, it's okay. Take things one step at a time. 'Slow and Steady will WIN the race'. Be patient, patience is a character that must be practiced if you are a child of God. Whenever you find that your friend is a bit different than usual, pray for him. Ask God to take away any sin or whatever he/she is having a hard time to deal with. That will do good to your friend! Trust me, no TRUST GOD!
God has a plan in each of our lives, yes you have a choice but no matter what, there is always consequences, Good ones and most of them BAD ones. These are challenges, how we face it depends on our reliance and faith in God, asking him for help and guidiance to light our paths to be able to overcome these problems. Take for example me. I've been having a quarrel with my classmate for the past approximately 3 months! But on tuesday, i apologised for being a bad child in God and listening to the voice of Satan in my head and heart instead of hearing what the Lord is trying to speak to us! When friendships are tested, work things out with your friend, God is always beside you, whether thick or thin.
Being a friend shows that you love the person, that you will try your best to help your friend. No matter what happens, you will be there for him/her. If they have family issues, advise them to talk things out, don't go directly because it can hurt sensitive ppl. I know that you guys know that you will be careful but please, this is a very important reminder for you. I hope that you will take my advice seriously.
And for the friends with the problems, if your friends come and ask you if you are all right, you can say that you are alright but your tone will show that you aren't. So just talk to your friend, they will be all ears, they will do their best to understand but even if they do not, they will still be by your side, no matter what. So please explain it to them, lift that heavy burden off your shoulders and share it with your friend, God will always be with you too, but you also need your friends to help sometimes too. You have friends, treasure them. If you don't, they can vanish into thin air and you might not be able to see them again. So make use of this time to increase that bond of friendship. Challenges tighten that bond! Overcome it and be better and stronger childs, brothers and sisters in Christ. DO YOUR BEST AND LET GOD DO THE REST!!!

Today's my mum's birthday! my parents took leave so that we can have time to celebrate her birthday together as one family! It was very cool... the night before, i copied a picture of happy birthday and drew it and i wrote a card to my mum!!!
Well before we went to eat, i had to go for soccer training... before that i apologised to jon ong... well i've been a bit sarcastic to him though he has been more sarcastic but i thought since i most probably started the whole thing, i might as well end it first before it gets even more out of hand... the soccer training was fun, with us playing against a team from woodlands... they were much bigger than us! I played striker for the last 1/2 hour and i had 6 shots throughout the game... the statistics were so poor!!! 6 shots, 5 on target, 1 off target... GOALS: ZERO!!! ARGH! i feel so enraged, how can i not score... irritated... oh well i need to work on my shooting then...
Talking to my friends and i found out that friends are there to be treasured... Wealth is not = happiness! to me true friends and family = happiness! well, with hols coming to a close, it's going to be exciting... got movie this sunday and tuesday... Going to be so fun! Anyway, friendship is there to be treasured... Cling onto your closer friends' bond, don't loosen it too much... let your new friendships grow and tighten more as you get to know each other better! That's my advice!
I feel that friendships will make you have closer friends as time goes by and when you bond together. Improve that friendship and make it the tightest you have ever made!
Well the preparations for this sunday's movie is going smoothly. i've book the tickets and we are occupying row 'J' with 11 people... haha. Anyway hope that u'll have a good time there and that this mini outing will increase our bond as better and closer friends... despite the different services we go to! Well, i hope that with my advice and sharing that u will understand that we can't buy things like friendship, family with money... Please treasure them, once they are lost, they take a long time to be found! God Bless you all

CAMP IS OVER!!!

finally, camp finishes... it was meaningful... exciting too. Though it was only 1 1/2 days long, they were many lessons learnt. When i came, i just finished watching shrek 3, going for tuition and going for cell at my house. Then my parents fetched me from my house to BRMC church. We started the time there introducing the members of the camp committee, with abigail being camp com and jeremy wong being the deputy camp com, and other members too. then we voted for the movie that we were going to watch and we watched 'I Not Stupid Too'. The beginning part i was being stupid, playing around... haha. Then i found out i was group leader for my group, so i had to lead Quiet Time for my group. groups had 4-5 ppl cos it only was for sec 1s in the 8.30am service with 2 guests, hao yi and i... Quiet Time is not say so hard to prepare, but you really need God's guidiance in my opinion... QT is something that we discuss and God will talk to us through His word! So i skipped the middle portion of the movie and went outside to do QT! Seriously, it is enjoyable to lead cos you learn how to lead and God speaks to you more cos you prepare it.
There is something true and something that i find funny about. Girls mature faster than boys and i talk to girls in camps more than i talk to boys... SERIOUSLY!!! It is quite weird... yet funny... I find that i talk to girls more comfortable than some boys cos i've sat next to girls so often... DON'T TELL YOU WHY!!! Anyway, this has been going on for several years now... i find it cool! I feel by talking to boys, you get more childish then when you talk to girls.
Well, the nice part of the camp was the games. We played icebreakers, captain's ball, capture the flag and water bomb fight. It was fun... icebreakers was double wacko, which was totally funny, bully some people then very slacky when i am going to hit the person... Then i needed to do a forfeit cos i got chosen 4 times and the forfeit was meant for the bigger jaws (mine was too small). We had to pick up an apple from a bucket of water with your mouth... it was hard cos my mouth was small and in the end i used my hands to pick it up. Then came captain's ball. Boys vs Girls as usual (1st time playing captain's ball in church). Boys have been losing to girls since P5. However, there is something called third time lucky. We won 10-6. The main reasons were because of Alex (tall dude sunday school teacher... kept on blocking the shots) and ME!!! I helped by pressurising the people who had the ball and i kept shouting so that they will mark ppl not just stand and stone. HAHA!!! I was always the quickest but i was scared of dehydration of course so i went to the water cooler 2 times during the game. Thanks to me, i played a part in 5 goals (should be 5 or 4, assisted of course), blocked passes and shots 3 times and scored twice... my magic...lol! So then we played water bombs and i was drenched and totally soaked...
Then we had dinner. KFC and CANADIAN PIZZA! i was the last one to finish eating! And i was not full yet... haha.. cos i had no rice so not full... Ate 3 pizza slices, 2 chicken wings, 3/4 of a large whipped potato!!! After that was Theme Talk. It was about faith... learned many things. HAHA... don't know how to describe...
Then came the last day, today! We had 8.30 service worship then we ate pratas for breakfast... Ate 5 pratas in 50min... SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE! Then i blurted out something that when i think about it again, it was quite stupid... LOL!!! Next time never blurt out something that you never think clearly about! THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SPEAK!!! Then, after that it was debrief and we were released! So that's what happened in camp! Going to sleep soon! 11.30 liao...lol! GOD BLESS YOU ALL

What Happened Today

Once again, another day has passed. But tomorrow is the day of celebration! Despite the tuition at learning lab for english at 5, i will be going with some of my cell grp friends to watch the hilarious shrek 3 (based on nerine's pt of view... lol)... then it's rush rush rush to tuition!!! after tuition it's back home to eat maccaroni and cheese for dinner and then soon cell will start... and after cell ends, it's rush rush rush again but this time to BRMC... to do what? FOR THE LONG AWAITED SEC 1 CAMP!!!!!!! I should be the last to reach but it doesn't matter cos it will be time for a movie! 2 movies in 1 day!!! THIS ROCKS!!!!
Anyway time to tell you what happened for the past few days... Smsing more than usual... more friends means more talking over the hp... haha. Past few days have been spent to finish my one aim... finish my HOMEWORK!!! and i finished it! THIS MORNING! i did the maths worksheets today, signalling the end of homework! hooray for me!!! Hope you guys go and do finish your homework soon... JEREMY WONG YOU BETTER DON'T COPY MY READING BYTES IN SCHOOL!!! DO IT YOURSELF!!! haha... in school i'm the person who gets asked, "Can you lend me your worksheet? i wanna copy!" There was maths, chinese, physics (had to do 3 mindmaps)!!! haha so cool! but during that time, it was also time to watch tv, listen to music in itunes and there was time to play soccer with my friends... Super fun!!! Packed finish my bag for tomorrow's camp! I'm prepared!
it's been a wonderful time of holiday so far. So much fun to play, talk, play and talk and also worshipping God whenever, wherever i went to.... Don't mind the grammatical error (if there is at least)... HAIZ... lol i have nothing to say...

Back In Singapore

HAHA! not posted in a long long time!!! Anywayz, it's been a wonderful start to this holidays (slacking really)! I've just come back from camp... Church camp to be exact and it was so cool. There were many theme talks and workshops (theme talks were okay and the workshops was cool!!!) The worship was wonderful and the theme song is 'Make Us Holy'
My group was very youth type... and i was the only one that didn't hang out with them so often... SORRY!!! hanging out with me friends like Nick Tye, Jeremy, Hao Yi, Sabina, Hao Zhong, Justin Mao (mao mao mao), Nerine, Abigail... super cool... in worship take up the whole row! We talk and talk and talk... then during free time hang out with one another... playing table tennis, basketball, or just slacking in the hotel room... Just to let you know we were at the Marriott Putrajaya in KL (5 star hotel okay, don't pray pray)...
The theme for the camp was 'Personal Holiness (Changing Paradigms in our Marketplace)' and it was talking about holy spirit and those stuff... On the last night, i went up with my friends and asked the people at the front who were the altar ministers or something like that...lol to pray for me. Cry like mad! but it was worth it lah!
My dream is that i can get the gift of preaching the word of God to others from the holy spirit cos there are many friends out there who are non-christians and i want them to believe and confess that Jesus lives so that they will go to heaven and not hell! Well, it's a tough job, but with the holy spirit, i'm willing to do anything for GOD!!!
I made new friends in this camp like nerine, charmaine, justin mao mao mao and some others... Talking to them is like making the bond among us become more secure. Well, that's all i have to say... JUST HAVE A PLEASANT HOLIDAY AND I'LL SEE THOSE WHO ARE GOING FOR THE SEC 1 CAMP ON FRIDAY...but b4 i leave let me leave you with my church camps theme verse:

Lately, my schedule has lightened. I have 1 tuition cut off as i had another tuition that had a better standard and i was also studying the same subject there. Since term 2 has started, i have been very tight with homework being given out and expected to be returned in sometimes an unreliable date due. Anyway, it seems that i have slackened due to my now loosened schedule. I have finished my homework, then i relax, but now i have to do other things, like read books and other stuff, just to maintain my standard and not let it drop. Got to strive for better results!!!!
For my current class, it has been a tough job controlling them. I shout, they just continue to talk. Oh well, my teacher told me that i wouldn't need to shout anymore, just let jon ong shout and that will be fine. all i needed to do was to book the people who were talking... that's easy! But it seems that grace lim still bugs me to do things for her. No offense but she is like asking me to do stuff that a teacher would do, not a student. Just because i'm the chairman doesn't mean i am able to do these adult type jobs... Oh well, just doing my best. Feel like stepping down, too much time wasting my voice in class, even the class com can be out of control.
For the debate, our team made it through into the 2nd round. only 6 teams remain. The motion for the debate is going to be against us, or maybe just a slight disadvantage for us as it is 'this house supports state funding for elite athletes'. My team will have to work hard, those who want to help, please give me things that you have either researched or your thoughts, but make sure they are facts! And just to confirm in case you don't know, we are the opposition. Looks like we have to work hard to overcome this second hurdle in this competition.
Soccer has been really fun. But thanks to it i had a wrist and ankle injury. Please when you guys are playing, please be careful. Anyway, training has been boring. Wish that Tohari can come to train with us cos it's more fun. Trying to improve on my shooting which is my main weakness and crossing as well. Oh well, need to do my speech...

Finally posting again!

Phew! I'm finally posting again... I know that everyone is persuading me to post so today, so now i am! Well, since the last day i posted(which is in Febuary... :P) it's been a hard time to use my time wisely. My schedule has loosened a bit more and i have more time to study. Unfortunately, to tell you the truth, i have slackened since term 2 started... after getting 79.1% average... Well, got to strive harder to do better in my studies and not slacken and become worse... And lately the 1st round of the debates have been done, and my grp has won and now are in to the 2nd round.
For soccer, we've been knocked out as we lost our last 2 matches, 7-0 to kent ridge and 3-0 to St. Gabriel's. Oh well, it seemed that we have not bonded really well due to our differences, that's what Lionel says and i trust that he is telling the truth.
It's been a torrid time in ACS(I) to tell you the truth. Yes i made new friends but my old friends... our bonds seem to have been loosened by quite a bit. I hope that we can go out and bond with each other to keep our friendship alive. School has been hectic, but manageable. The homework is okay, but the way they teach is quite boring. The use the powerpoint slides and the classroom is also quite dark so some of us do sleep... I have been a chairman for 4 months now and it seems that everyone relies on me to do everything. The teachers and classmates all expect me to help them and teach them their hw... oh well, that's what chairmans are for... :)
Well, i hope that i will be able to do well for the next round of common tests and also work hard in soccer training so i can be the captain of the c div next year... Results normally do come from training...

CNY Period

Yay! finally CNY period, a break which many ppl can go overseas(that is if they want to instead of spending their time with their families)... Some of my friends are going back to their families in Malaysia or Indonesia... Just had dinner... still at cousin's house... just had steamboat, tomorrow coming back and going to play even more!!! Can't wait...
Anyway, tomorrow for church i'm going for the 8.30am service not 10.30am one, going to be with my sister and cell grp frenz... going to go and hear the sermon at shine forth... Lately, i have not been able to talk to my 6F frenz cos i hardly see you and i see my new friends more... very sry if you feel insulted... I'll try to talk to you on msn if got time. Well, the B Div. won 7-1 in soccer against Bendemeer Sec, total thrashing! But unfortunately not able to go through to the next round due to losing on goal difference... Oh well, congrats to the players that at least the won by the highest margin in the grp... Anyway, on friday we were released earlier cos of the good O level results that the school had... So my friends and i played soccer, taking shots from outside the box... Our C Division Badminton team(one of my classmates is playing and is in the first team) won all our matches 5-0 and in the semis we thrashed SJI 5-0, my friend won his game 15-2 15-1.. next they are facing RI, my friend says that we are evenly matched with them, our sec 1s are the ones who are normally playing, only a doubles pair that is sec 2... Hope that we will win and secure the badminton title for C and B division(Both are in the final and are challenging RI)... I have a feeling that we will win RI and clinch the title... Still having common test, got 86/100 for chinese... 2nd in class, lost to terry by 1 mark... THAT WAS A FLUKE BEATING ME TERRY!!!!!
Going back to school on the 21st to meet teachers, and go and play soccer!!! Both with P6 and Sec 3 friends... well can't w8... gtg bb

Exam!

The exams are on! with chinese, history and english over... With physical science in 2 days time, it's still not too stressful. Well, school still has been very fun... Class is improving, but still needing a lot of effort to tell them to keep quiet, especially lucas, winfred and keane. The class commitee is very irritating making ken and i very annoyed...
Well for soccer, we lost to bendemeer and won henderson, not too bad for a start.. Having lionel and kevin buddy me, jonathan and i talk to them everyday, with jonathan a little brother to big bro lionel... hahahahaha. Wanted to go support the B Div in their match but cannnot lah... cos got training...
Going back to school on the 21st... in ACS(I) made tons of friends, talking to them and spending time with them as well...

Another Week Has Finally Past

Another week, past and a new one coming my way. It's been tough as a chairman(chairwoman to some other people in my class) but it has been really really an enjoyable time bonding with them. Just had one of our classmates, Dillon, exchange classes from our class to 1.7. Well... Our class is mainly a very sporty class. And it also has many leaders. Next week there is a tournament for soccer and i'm in the team. There is this special training for the tournament participants representing our school that needs to practice on saturday. But i have BB so i need to tell the teacher- IC for BB to excuse me so i can attend this training...
Doing alot of admin stuff, tiring as i have tuitions almost everyday(mainly replacements), so everyday is like, okay do finish work, sleep... Hardly going to msn, trying my best to talk to my best frenz again after being in different classes with them. Been so busy that even going to the old places that i went last year(bible study) also i can attend irregularly...
PSL andrew has been and will be (i guess) spamming my cbox... Andrew if i c u doing that again, i'll make sure u'll pay................. Who cares anyway... Soccer training... Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday. BB-Saturday...alamak go soccer lah, don't go BB yet.

End of the Week

hello everyone! The weekend has come to an end... very sad to me, be'cos it has been raining and pouring everyday and there is no time to play soccer... plus, i have tuition and tuition and more tuition for english, maths and science. I am a very busy person. Today, after church, i had to rush of to united square for lunch as my tuition centre, Learning Lab was there and class started at 1pm(church ends at 12 and we left at 12.20). Thankfully that was the only tuition of the day. But tmr, it will be a busy day for me. I will reach school at 6.45am and finish school at 2.40pm, then go and switch buses at macritchie and take 166/980 to novena square and walk to united square. No going back home. Then, i'll eat my lunch there and have tuition from 4.30pm to 8.15pm... another busy day, followed by tuesday which has soccer 4-6 then tuition at the same place at 7.30pm... rush rush rush...
Well, at least during the weekend i finished everything i was assigned to do for hw. I've been resting since 5pm, preparing for the week ahead and then relaxing and trying to make myself occupied. Watched Liverpool vs Chelsea yesterday. I have to say that jose mourinho did everything wrong. The line-up was terrible, weak defense and you still play 4-3-3. I would play 4-4-2 so that the four midfielders could protect the defense(this is my own opinion). But i would have to say that the 2 goals that liverpool scored were absolutely top draw. Incredible observing by kuyt to go to the open space and shot past the helpless cech. Then came Pennant's wonder goal. Chesting the ball down by Pennant after a weak defensive header by essien, he shots the ball with precision and pace and hits the underside of the crossbar and into the net. Absolute stunner, will we see this in the Arsenal vs Manchester United tonight. Not going to watch the match, my dad is going to record it for me. I need to get some rest for the busy day tmr... Channy wants Arsenal to win, and if they do, that will be one of his happy birthday gifts he would love in his life. his b'day was yesterday(HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANNY!). Well, but i say by the form, man u are just too good for arsenal to handle, even if they have henry.
Been under alot of pressure after being chairman. Taking care of the class key, the behaviour of the class, the guy responsible for the bad behaviour of the class... it's gonna be a long year. ACS(I) has been a bore lately, no real excitement except for recess time where we can play soccer. The lessons are quite uninteresting, the teachers keep on using the projector, so it's boring. Got the contacts for my teacher and by doing that for myself too. Bonding with my classmates is really cool and very enjoyable... Well, can't wait for tommorow? Well, 50-50. okay now i gtg, time to pack and go and slp...haha

Long Time No Post

It has been a very long time since i posted on my blog. Yu Zi would say that my blog is rotting. Well, i can't say that i disagree or agree wholeheartedly but i can say that i have my reasons not being able to post. Don't believe me, check with toh or yeo'z. This whole month, i would have non-stop tuition. English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science i go for tuition for these subjects.
It has been 3 weeks into the school term, many things discovered and yet to discover in the school. 1st week was a orientation camp, the next 2 weeks were both admin and work. These few weeks i am already very tired and sleep about 10.30pm because of tuition(i can sleep at 9.45pm if there is no tuition). Waking up at 5.45am and starting school at 7.30am, ending school at 2.40pm(except fridays which is at 12.40pm) but you still have to consider CCA, which for me is soccer, tuesday 4-6 and wednesday 3-5. We only have one recess and for me, i need 2.
All the classes had to have a class committee. I was voted to become the class chairman of my class. Unfortunately, being a chairman is not as easy as it sounds, and it is 10 ten times harder than a class monitor's work, and about 4 times tougher and time consuming than being a prefect. School has been a tough time, with my tuitions, school and CCAs jumping around the whole week. I believe i'm the only one in 6F in ACSI that is a class chairman. In ACSI, money is a big matter, losing the class key costs us $75. the worst part is that i'm the key holder, whose job is to lock up the classroom when the whole class is somewhere else.
I have made new friends in my class, friends from primary school, junior, tao nan, fairfield and other schools... The best way we know each other is through non other than... SOCCER!!! Time to talk abt CCAs... in acsi, we must have 2 CCAs(unless you have a valid reason). One UYO and one sports/society/club. I'm planning to join BB and of course i'm already in soccer. My class is tough to control. Being a small kid compared to the bigger secondary 1s in my class, they like talk as if they can't hear or see me. It is soo tough. But when a teacher comes, at least they are quick to stand up and keep quiet and then greet the teacher. So no teacher, make alot of noise, got teacher, make very little noise. final answer:Chairmans never control class. My teachers are nice, fun and also can be slightly boring, depending on which topic or subject.
Tuition is a new problem for me now. As some of you know, learning lab is a tuition centre that you have to attend the whole year(including holidays), if you miss one, u must make up. That is why i'm very busy but in feburary, the amt of make up lessons will drop... As for the gathering, i'm too busy to even think about it right now so maybe ms tan u could consider yu zi or someone else's house cos yu zi's house has no kinda like a place to play soccer...
Oh well, it's getting late, waiting for my dad to reach home then i'll go to sleep... kk gtg!!!

Happy Hari Raya Haji

Till this day, i'm wondering... what is my learning style? What are my strengths and weaknesses? What am i good at and what i am bad in. These things will only be answered when time goes by. people will obviously say, "Gabriel, you're good in soccer!" Well, i'm not. Compared to other people, i'm just someone that is lousy in that sport. But the love for that sport made me a better person in that sport. The only thing that knows how to answer these questions correctly is truly non other than God Himself, the Creator that created everything around us and of course, even ourselves. He has a plan for each of us, from the nano-second that we were born, to the last breath that we take.
Tomorrow will be the start of a new chapter in our lives. From the foundational education in primary school, we need to prepare our minds and hearts to meet the challenges of a more intense and stressful secondary life. Forget about the PSLE scores that we got, like what daniel shim(a score of 261, missing the scholarship mark by just 1 mark) said. Get up and do your best in everything that you do. Nabeel, don't worry about not being able to get into ACS(I). Don't let this setback discourage you. Failure is truly failure when we let it bring us down and discourages us to press forward. True success is when we learn from our mistakes and setbacks and persevere to work harder and achieve our goals! Remember, it is not a 100m dash but a marathon that we are running. SO PRESS ON!!! The finishing line is the last breath that we take and along this run, there are many obstacles along the way. This marathon is special, there are many shortcuts that we can take, and because of that, harder and harsher obstacles that we have to face.
Tomorrow will be like the first day of school, when everyone doesn't know most of the students in his/her class. We have to be able to get to know each other and also be good and trustworthy friends. Don't just stay with the friends that we made in Primary School, but also get to relate with the classmates new to us. Not being with any of my good friends, it is tough for me but i know that i will be able to get new friends in my class.
This chapter is not just of our secondary school life, but also our teenage life when we have to really have a lot of self-control. We will have to control our feelings and think twice before saying something bad to our friends or family. There will be full of defiance if we do not control our feelings so please be mindful of what you say and do(same goes for me, haha). This is why i urge each and every one of us to have a very strong bond with our family members.
I'll be bringing just all the forms that we have to hand up tomorrow and my pencil box too. We would just need to wear our school uniform only. there won't be any activities where we need to wear our PE attire. I wish everyone all the best and of course, HAPPY HARI RAYA HAJI!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, firstly i am terribly sorry for me not posting since i came back from my mission trip. I thank those who have gone to my blog day after day, waiting patiently for my new post! Haiz... so many things have changed ever since i came back from my trip. I got over my bad score of 244 and thought of the positive aspects of the score. It taught me that i need to study hard to achieve good marks. I wish all of you God bless and do well and achieve your goals.
I'm in class 1.1 in ACS(I). I got some friends there. I got a friend from Tao Nan coming in to ACSI. He's in 1.5. Sadly Nabeel got rejected by Ong Teck Chin. He took soccer, a non-core CCA. Oh well, we have to face reality. Don't worry Nabeel, we'll still keep in touch! God bless you in Barker...
Just to let you guys know for those who are going to Independent, there is school bus service provided only in the morning. Haiz... Wednesday to Saturday is time for Discovery Camp. Need a sponsor for my tablet PC... budget is soo tight. But i know that with God's help that my family will get through this time. Bought a new pair of boots(total 93) and a soccer ball(size 5, lotto). Going to our teenage lives will be a challenge and will be needing a lot of self-control.
It has always been a memorable experience at the blessing home each year when we go for our mission trip. With God, we managed to mix up sand, stones and cement and of course water to connect the boys' dorm with the dining hall. When we thought we would finish it in 3 days, we finished it in 1 day! Praise the Lord. We interacted with the Lahu kids and played and played and played. I played basketball most of the time and i improved my skills too!!!
My sister also stepped on a cup accidentally and broked it and she had a deep cut on her foot(because it happened at the chapel and we are not supposed to wear our shoes in the chapel). She had 3 stitches but she is okay now. The hand of God was really on her. Made alot of friends not just with the Lahu kids but also those in the Singaporean team. I felt that we were a blessing to the kids at the home and also they were a blessing to us.
Going back to Singapore was both a happy and sad thing. We wanted to stay at the blessing home and play with them everyday. We also wanted to see our parents in Singapore. It has always been a better and better time with the kids. Those who want to go there, the date is not confirmed for this year yet as it is still early.

Going Off

hello everyone, i'm sorry for not posting yesterday. I forgot to tell you this but i went to the doctor's on Wednesday. I was having the symtoms of flu, phlegm and others. I now have to take medication. The only problem is that i will be on a mission trip to Chiangrai, Thailand(further North of Chiangmai). So i must remember to take my medicine(which will be a tough thing for me to do). Just packed my luggage for the trip. 10 days, 8 days in Chiangrai then 2 days in Chiangmai. the 2 days are for relaxation, 'cause the 8 days of work are really hard work. My sister and I must share for one of the devotions and we haven't prepared yet. There might be some posts during the mission trip, because my dad's colleague will be bringing a laptop. But the likes of posting is 10% or maybe less. I feel so tired, not enough rest. Straight after finishing church camp on Tuesday, I'll be going off on Saturday of the same week. well, at least there will not be work tomorrow. Hoping to increase the bonds with my friends there at the Home my Dad's company is supporting. This is our third and our last(most probably) as this is my father's company's mission trip and there is a church mission trip too. So next year we'll be going for the church one. Not sure whether i'll be going to the Home at Chiangrai after this year. Well, to those who enjoy soccer, next time if i manage to go to this Home, you might want to come because they are good in soccer. So please keep me and also Wen Shien as he arrives tomorrow night from Australia in your prayers for journey mercy and that God will keep us safe. Church Camp

Firstly I'm sorry for not posting from the 1st to 5th December. Here's why. On the 1st, i didn't touch the computer at all and from the 2nd to the 5th i went for church camp.
Going to my first youth camp is very different from what you experience in the normal church camps. The worship is different from our upper primary worship. This youth camp has been a wonderful experiences with many stories to share. The worship for the youth group is different from our primary section. Why? Our youth group has a band that will play the background music and there will be a lead singer, while in the upper primary group(which i'm still in) uses the iPod to play the songs.
At the youth camp, there are games for us to play, Captain's ball using fruits(mandarin orange, tomato, banana), and other games which will make you really dirty. But the games were really fun. As this is a church camp, we obviously had theme talks by our Pastor-in-charge Rev Malcolm Tan. His stories were funny and godly. There were 2 workshops. The first workshop was about the Holy Spirit. The second workshop was a choice between 1)The In filling of the Holy Spirit, 2)Being A Second-Hand Christian.
I went for the first of the two choices which is the filling of the Holy Spirit. When you listen to the talk shared by a fellow member of the christian staff, you think that well, it is quite boring. Then suddenly, after the talk, there was worship. It was a time to worship and also a time of prayer. It was our personal moment with God, one on one. I thanked him for what he has done for me in my life.
Then the speaker said, "Those who want the Holy Spirit to be in your heart, please rise."
I saw people that would already have the Holy Spirit in their lives but they just stood up. So I stood up. There was this feeling. A feeling that it was as if God was holding me tight and that the Holy Spirit was going into my heart. It was a very touching moment that i cannot explain with words. The feeling was too touching that i just cried. I just couldn't stop crying. When i wanted to stop crying i couldn't. It was like being showered with love by the Holy Spirit. You know, you could just ask for the Holy Spirit and the Spirit will be in your life(if you believe in Jesus). I asked for the Holy Spirit. I know that it is in my life. But i didn't feel any this feeling before. I was prayed for and i asked God to be given the spiritual gift of sharing the word of God to others. After I was prayed for, i sat down. Soon my cousin, who was just beside me, came to me and prayed with me. I was so happy and touched. If you were in my shoes, i bet you would've cried as well. After that, the singer on stage that was leading worship sang "How Great Is Our God"(You can listen to the song which is at the MV section). If you were there and heard that song, and accepted the Holy Spirit into your life, you would really say, how great our God is. I cried and cried and cried. But it wasn't in sadness but in joy. My cousins, sister accepted the Holy Spirit.
This was the day when we woke up early in the morning at 4.45am to prepare to watch the sunrise at East Coast(which we didn't see due to the rain but it didn't affect us). We worshiped God. Later that day we had the last supper, which lasted till 2am but i slept at 1.20am. That day was a really important day of my life. It was a glorious day.
During the camp i learned a few new songs, some of which are at the MV section. They really describe how powerful God is, but God as we all know is a God with absolute power(power with no limits). I feel very fortunate to be able to write these things on my blog. I am really blessed. My dad says that i'm blessed because of the number of friends i have, my maturity and other blessings... The camp has changed my life. If you want to experience something like what i experienced, join your church's camp(if they have one). Okay i got to go now

Friends

You know, lately i have been thinking about this topic, friends. Yes, friends are those that hang around with you and have lots of fun with you. But are they true friends? Ask yourself that question. I find that some people are friends with you because you have things like money and other things. Friends through times together and how long we've known each other make them our good or even best friends. I got some friends that over some things that i asked him and he gave me the solution to it, became my best friend almost instantly(obviously we knew each other but we were not so close as of now).
Let me give you an example, i had a best friend when i was in primary 4. His name was Nabeel. He was my best friend because of us being in the soccer CCA. By year end, he was just a normal friend. Why? well... back then he threw tantrums over the smallest things. But now, he is a more matured person. When i got my PSLE results, i was disappointed and Nabeel saw that i was sad. He was very concerned for me as i was to him, a very close friend. He did something that i didn't expect a friend to do to me when i'm down. He called me during lunch and encouraged me. He didn't talk to me when we were together with other friends, he didn't sms me but he CALLED me to encourage me when he was in Vivo City going to watch a movie with his friends. Thinking, i was very touched and told myself, i am really grateful to have such a friend like that.
I have many friends. Some are those who are really close, while the others are just normal friends. Deon, Daryl and Wen Shien are some of my best friends. They helped me, talked to me and we hanged out. We were like brothers(in my opinion). Yes, we teased each other at times but we didn't let that affect our bond as best friends. I am very happy because of that.
I used to agree with my best friends with everything they said because they were my best friend. If I didn't feel the same way as them, i wouldn't say what i want to say if not i was afraid that would hurt our friendship. Now, if i could, i would go back in time and tell them what i feel. I am bossy. I would always think that i'm right. But i would also lend a listening ear to my friends and see if they have better ideas than i do. We do things that sometimes people dislike. I have done that before. I have teased someone over a matter too much that sometimes they feel very hurt. To us it is a joke but sometimes others feel embarrassed, sad and angry because of what you have said about them.
So we all need to be emphathetic and think about the consequences before what you say or do. Sometimes saying something might affect the private life of your friends so do not do things that i have done last time. We do things that is wrong because we're not perfect. But always strive to do good and even when doing something the wrong way is much much easier, we must always have a passion to do good and not evil.

Nothing To Do Except Work...and Play

haiz... this isn't the normal way of starting ur post but... haiz... means 'sigh...' so i'm showing some feeling here... looking back... before the psle results came out, my classmates and i were happy, talking away, having fun during the day(not including during school hours). But now some of us are starting to study... let's see, i am doing work already(don't blame my dad, i got a busy december schedule so i'm starting work now)... deon is doing work, lester, hakim this saturday(baking a CAKE!!! home economics...lol and geography too)... well... this is all our own sake so don't feel sorry for us!(okay... maybe a tincy wincy bit would do just fine)
I haven't heard anything about my grandma's condition but my dad said yesterday that her condition is not so serious(under observation only). I would like to thank all of you who have prayed for her. We have faith in God that he will heal her soon.
Just now at about... 5.45pm... i went down to my condo's field and played with my friend who is in the National U-15... He's super pro... his volleys are low, hard and powerful. He tells me the techniques... how to cross properly, outrunning someone. Asked me to train on my shots(he says my shots are too weak(well... that's true)... kk gtg now

Worried...

Today, i still continued my working schedule as planned. Work, work and work, but also some breaks here and there...
Today, Wen Shien left for Tasmania, Australia at 3pm. he will be back on the 9th of December so he will not be on msn from now till then. Deon has also bought a new pair of adidas boots worth $79, lucky him... well then, deon, i want you to train harder and play well with that pair of new boots. He also managed to watch 3 movies in a week! He is so fortunate! I have never even watched 2 movies in a week(not that i remember).
Something sad happened today. My Grandma is suffering from pneumonia. Pneumonia is a deadly disease where your lungs are infected and you cannot breathe properly. Please keep my grandma in your prayers and ask God to keep her safe from harm. I thank you for your prayers in advance. She is now being hospitalised.... kk gtg now

Working Day

Today was the start of the busy working week before the youth camp on the 2nd of December. Studying hard today, reading of dictionaries, storybooks, referrence books and did a few mind maps for biology. 4 mind maps in 3h, how good is that?(if you don't believe me try it yourself) Started at 11am sharp and ended at 5pm sharp, finished earlier than expected so i rested for the rest of the day... I just finished the last episode of a chinese tv series so i am posting later.
I stayed up late last night till this morning at 2am to watch the match between Manchester United vs Chelsea. The match ended with a draw at 1-1. Exciting match indeed. Man Utd dominated the 1st half and Chelsea responded by dominating in the 2nd half. There were chances for both sides but Man Utd drew first blood with Saha scoring a perfect strike outside the box into the bottom left corner just before the half hour mark. In the 2nd half, Chelsea equalised at the hour mark with a corner by Frank Lampard and Ricardo Carvalho rose up to head the ball into the net, with Saha's help along the way. But Saha's goal would be this EPL 2006/2007 goal of the season contender, alongside with Drogba's stunner against Liverpool. kk now, i gtg

Preparations for Secondary School

As a sunday, it is a rest day. But for me... well today was not rest day but schedule day. You see, i have to prepare for my secondary school early as my december holidays is occupied with a youth camp and a mission trip. So i had to prepare my schedule for this week before my youth camp which is from the 2nd to the 5th of december. So please do not except me to be on msn for a long time, if i might be on.
And i would like to wish wen shien a safe journey to tasmania, australia. Wish tt u have a great time there. Congrats to deon who has finally gotten his own pair of soccer boots. Well, there's nothing else for me to say now cos nothin interesting happened todae. kk gtg

Day after PSLE results

the day after the psle results... some are sad, others... happy, overjoyed. While others have mixed feelings, like me. Yes I do feel sad for not getting the results that i desired. But at least i am contented that i managed to get into ACS(I). Other people like jason lam, caleb might be going to ACS(BR). i wish all the best and that we will keep in touch via msn and email. We will meet one last time during the posting on December 21.
I have started preparing for the next year. All those who have not, please start soon by reading textbooks from your relatives as they might have included several notes that might help understand what the textbook tells you in a simpler way. Please to those who want to expand their knowledge for languages, i recommend that you read the dictionary(30-50 words a day).
I hope that those who feel down about your results, remember this, failure is the mother of success. Learn from your mistakes. Do not give up, try and try. Ask if you need to.

Sad Day

Today, i got my PSLE results back. I was very very very very .......... disappointed with my score. i got 244/300. when i got the marks, i was so sad. i lost to pupils tt i should've beaten and when my friends predicted that i would be the top ten of the mainstream, i didn't. one of my friends tt didn't even study as hard as i did, beat me by four marks.
But, i will learn from my mistake and work harder next year. To all Primary Six pupils this year, the start of secondary skool will be 2 or 3 times more intensifying. what's more, we're learning 8 subjects... congratulations to daryn koh, hua yang, shimmy, keithy, deon, darls, toh and joshua chan, who finally got the same score as me since pri4...lol. Well... i hope tt all of us, no matter what score we have for PSLE, to get ready and be prepared for next yr, the start of the new chapter of our education.
People said tt 244 is a veri veri gd score. For me, whose potential is much higher that can reach 260, is a veri veri bad score. oh well, what's done is done.
Remember... failure is the mother of success. Learn from your mistakes and don't make it again in the future. Then your parents, GOD and your earthly parents will be proud of you... okay now, i gtg

Great Movie... Nope

hello everyone, todae we as scheduled went to cineleisure to watch 'The Covenant'. It is kinda... sick, action-packed, horrifying(for my type of person). The last part was the most exciting and i think tt those who can watch abit of horror type of shows can watch this movie. There were many movies to choose from but yu zi specifically chose this movie. I wanted to watch 'Happy Feet' but juz insisted with the movie, so we all gave in to him. Well, toh was also going to watch 'Casino Royale' during the wkend b4 leaving to Tasmania, Australia. Overall, i rate the movie 3 stars out of 5 stars
After the movie, we ate at Yoshinoya for our lunch and after tt we browsed thru the shops in the shopping centre. We actually thought of going to Takashimaya, which at Kinokuniya. but deon's dad quarantined deon to cineleisure onli so we were veri disappointed with tt. But at least deon could gain a bit more of his dad's trust so he could allow deon to go anywhere he wants with us.
Tomorrow is our big day................... PSLE results day. Wish all the best to all Primary 6s tt we will all do well!
Another thing tt happened this morning was tt Celtic won Man Utd 1-0. I was not say so shocked by the result but after i heard from my dad tt Saha missed a penalty in the last min, i was totally shocked. I watched the highlights for the match and the free-kick that Shisuke Nakamura scored was a stunner-near post top right hand corner. but there shouldn't have been a free-kick. Vidic who tackled a Celtic player, missed the ball completely and also missed the player. the Celtic player then dived! how dishonest is tt. The FIFA should really put in video technology to make sure if the foul is correct or not. kk gtg now...

hello everyone... today i managed to finish letter A of the dictionary and it comprised of 96 PAGES!!! i am so happy! HOORAY!!!! XD... and todae my dad came back safely from Kuantan, Malaysia. my friend, yu zi, arranged with me, toh and yeos to go to cineleisure for the movie, The Covenant. after tt, we're going for lunch at the food court there and then we're going home... kk can't w8 for tmr... kk gtg

What A Day!

I was very tired after coming home at 10pm yesterday so i couldn't post so now let me tell you what happened... It was my dad's company's flag day(Eagles Communications). My Mum and I went there to count the money. When the first few bags came in, we cut open the bags and dropped the coins and notes into one of the baskets. Did you know one student had the bag with just 2 5-cent coins in it! OMG!!! from 7.30am till 11.30am(4 hours) i mean come on even a primary 1 boy could do better than him/her.
At about 3pm, my friend, Benjamin, one of my dad's colleague and i went to the streets too to persuade ppl to donate. We went to Raffles Place to take the train down to Junction 8 at Bishan but little did we noe tt there were Raffles Girls students stationed there. So we then went to Ang Mo Kio. We went to the big space next to Jubilee to ask the people there to donate. Some people were generous, will some ppl were not. At 6pm, we stopped and went to Mos Burger to eat our dinner. We were so happy to sit on the cushion seats there. We then headed back after eating dinner. In 3h, i collected a total of $30.60... i was so happy!!! Once we came back at 10pm, i quickly washed up and by 11pm i slept... kk gtg now

But then... the stupid b0On ch!Ng say the haze is too bad for the excursion so it was called off... stupid fool! i sit on u then u noe arh! and something marvellous happened todae... the g@y juz said that i am a GAY!!!!!!!!!!! how cool is tt... kk gtg now

well todae was an unusual day...we got a "hi-tea" organised by the skool and prepared by the parents...the gifts were nice, but the FOOD?! so little! one tray of each... how can abt 300 ppl be full. well todae aso sang with deon amazing by westlife... so lame lah, my mike was pitched so high tt i had a squeaky voice... embarrassing u noe?! Overall out of 5 i gif 2... so so...haiz gtg now cya...

hello everyone... well todae at skool, toh, deon, zi and i went to accompany dominic poh... he was so naughty todae, fan si arh! But, so happy, honours day receiving 2 awards... YES!!! watched akeelah and the bee and a bit of king kong... the 1st movie was so nice lor, both touching and exciting. i can't wait for tmr, scavenger hunt, so sad juz 1 1/2 hr and a hi-tea. well time to study again...cya!
